Hi Friend! I'm happy you're here! Since 2017, I've had the opportunity to capture some of life’s sweetest moments. From double chins to gray hairs, I love this job of mine with my whole heart. My photography style is genuine and comfortable— radiating with joy. I’m here for the kindhearted folks who value moments captured in time.

A handful of years and thousands of shutter clicks later, I am still just as in love with photography as the day I first picked up a camera. I can’t imagine not squealing with excitement as my viewfinder captures your smile lighting up a room. Sitting in a coffee shop culling images, you would probably look over to see me a little bit teary-eyed or quietly laughing to myself. Most importantly— you will see me with the biggest smile because I love what I do. I love meeting new friends and hearing your visions, stories, and memories. I love capturing moments in time that you can hold onto forever. I love my job and can’t wait to serve YOU!

Purpose
When people see my photography, I want them to feel it. The softest details you never noticed before now captivate your attention. My purpose is to bring out real emotions, big hugs, and all the love into each frame I shoot. Every time I head out for a session, make sure the images I leave with to truly honor and reflect the folks before me. Whether that be their laugh, the way their hand's fit together, or the battle scars proudly worn— I want to show people who weren’t there, to feel the emotion behind the image.

My motto is simple, I want to capture you in your most genuine form. I want these images to reflect every ounce of you are as a person. The best compliment is when a client opens their gallery and says, "I love them!!! This is so me. You truly captured me." Be still my heart!!! Posed images serve their time and place. I've never had professional photos taken, what do I do?
Oftentimes, it's easy for photographers to forget how it feels to be behind the camera. I totally get it. Smooching your honey in front of a stranger can feel a bit... awkward. I've been there! My goal is to always make you feel comfortable, calm, and confident!
As we shoot, I will always help direct and make sure you feel secure to be yourself. I recommend practicing some poses on your own to help you feel more confident. By the end of your session, you are going to feel like a total badass I promise!
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in the heart of the Midwest, Des Moines, Iowa! Do I travel? Absolutely, I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story outside Des Moines, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come because I don't want it to be a brake for you. I couldn't imagine anything more wonderful than adventuring with you!
How many pictures will I receive?
For an average session, you will receive between 70 to 100 fully edited images to choose from. Portrait sessions tend to have bit more images. I will always let you choose the photos that best represent you and those you love. An image I love might not be your favorite. If I was a client, I would want to choose my favorites. Don't worry, I've got ya covered!
When will I get my photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 4-8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). As a full-time student and working gal, I work as quickly as possible to get you back your beautiful images! With that, I do not send sneak peeks... I would rather just send you the whole finished gallery!
Will you second shoot my wedding?
I only take a limited amount of second-shooter wedding positions per season. Please contact me as soon as possible for rates and availability!
Where do I go from here?

From there, we will set up a time to meet for coffee and get to know one another. If you're in the area, let's chat in person but a Zoom call will do the trick as well.
Do I have to have a consultation meeting?
You might be wondering, what's with the meeting? A quick consultation meeting allows us to meet each other and I can fully understand your vision— making sure we are on the same page. Alright... send a message my way! I am thrilled to hear all your ideas!
What do I wear?!
I always recommend sticking to earth tones. Generally, these kinds of tones look the best with most locations and skin tones! Combining layers, textures, accessories, and an accent outfit (like a hot pink dress) are all fun ways to spice things up! I do encourage folks to stray AWAY from patterns— it can be distracting from your cute face! All this to say, dress in what you feel comfortable and confident in.
